I had the absolute joy of photographing the Henrie Family, who just recently moved to Colorado Springs, during a golden hour session at Palmer Park, and let me tell you… this one was full of sunshine, love, and the most precious giggles.

Their sweet little girl was the star of the show, lighting up the evening with her bright smile and playful energy. From the moment we began, she was all-in—twirling in circles, playing Ring Around the Rosie with mom and dad, and soaking up every bit of love that surrounded her.

One of my favorite parts of the session was when she came over to look at the photos on the back of the camera. Her eyes lit up when she saw the images of her and her mama. Little moments like that make my heart melt!

Palmer Park gave us the dreamiest backdrop. Just one hour before sunset, the soft golden light wrapped around the landscape, casting a warm glow on the Rocky Mountains and Pikes Peak in the distance.

Sessions like these remind me why I do what I do. Capturing love, laughter, and the genuine bond between parents and their children—those are the images that stand the test of time.
