In those pictures, I was my genuine self, so she loves them. She hardly ever touches the staged photos.

Personally, my favorite photo of me as a child is me climbing on my dad’s back pretending like he was a horse.

However… I don’t really have any fun, in-the-moment pictures with my mom because she was always the one behind the camera.

Honestly, if I was ever to have a reason for pictures, this would be my #1 reason.
